Course of Italian Cooking lessons
You will be staying at Villa Giulia for an exlusive seven days trip to Naples with Italian cooking lessons and various excursions.
The owner of the Villa will be in charge of the lessons which will be held in English.
The theme of this course will be the authentic Italian Neapolitan cuisine with the use of fresh ingredients.

Details of the seven days trip
Saturday.
At your arrival in Naples you will be met and driven to Villa Giulia.
In the evening, before dinner, we will begin to discuss the primary notions of good Italian cooking.
Dinner wil be served.
Sunday.
In the morning you will be visiting the Archeological sites of Cuma, former Greek and then Roman colony. There will be an English speaking guide. The afternoon is yours. The hotel owner will be pleased to advise you on either tourist sites or sports. The hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up at a meeting point.
The second cooking lesson will take place from 17:30 to 19:30 followed by dinner.
Monday.
Guided tour of Naples. You will be visiting the Castle del Ovo, the Royal Palace, Piazza Plebiscito, Piazza del Gesù and the church of Santa Chiara in the old part of the City.
We then invite you for lunch in one of the most famous Pizzeria in Naples. The afternoon is free for you to go shopping or site seing. The hotel shuttle will take you back to the Hotel. Dinner will be served.
Tuesday.
This day is free for you to do as you wish. The hotel shuttle can take you either to the hydrofoils to Capri or Ischia, or to the train station in Pozzuoli from where you can reach Pompei or other places. The hotel shuttle will bring you back in the evening. Cooking lesson will be held at the same time. Dinner.
Wednesday.
Departing from Pozzuoli in the morning by hydrofoil, we will be visiting the Island of Ischia. Both Ischia and Capri are world famous islands for their beautifull bays, breath taking panoramic views and elegant shops. Ischia is also famous for it's thermal cures. We will make a tour around the island and then spend the day in the Giardini Poseidon, the most famous thermal complex of Ischia with more than twenty different pools. In the Grotta del Vino you can taste locally produced wines. We will be back at Villa Giulia in the evening. Dinner will be served. During the winter we will offer a different program of equal quality.
Thursday
In the morning we shall visit the Archeological Museum in Naples. In the afrternoon the fourth cooking lesson will take place followed by dinner.
Friday
The morning is free for you to relax. In the afternoon we will talk of the origin of the Neapolitan Pizza and then we will be making our own Pizza with various recepies in our own wood lit oven, followed by dinner.
Saturday
You will be accompanied to the airport for your return flight.
Breakfast is served every the morning.
 

Sports, excursions
There are plenty of opportunities for you to spend the free time contained in this program. Here are just a number of suggestions. Detaliled informations are available at the Hotel.
Villa Giulia has a large outdoor swimming pool where in season drinks and a light lunch may be served.

Sports: at approximately twenty minutes from the Hotel you will find a nine holes golf course with its own club house: green fees run from € 21 p.p. on week days to € 24 on holidays, for 18 holes € 33 and € 41 respectivelly. At five minutes driving from the Hotel you will find a sport club where you can play tennis, € 10 per hour previous booking.

Seightseeing
For those guests who are keen on history, Pompei is obviously a must. You can reach Pompei by train . Entrance fee is € 17 p.p. There are, both in or outside, Naples many museums worth visiting. We just mention a few: the National Museum of Capodimonte, built in 1738 which hosts the famous Farnese collection and the Castle of Sant'Elmo built in 1329. Very particular is also a visit to the vulcanic crater La Solfatara in Pozzuoli, entrance fee € 5 p.p.

Notes
* Maximum number of participants per week is 10 or 12.
* The package price is € 1100 per person per week for the rooms Arancia, Priscilla, Iris and Gelsomina and € 950 per person per week for the rooms Demetra and Giacinto. This price is based on stay in double bedroom and includes the breakfast, the entire program as described previously including tranfers to and from the airport, five cooking lessons followed by dinner, inclusive of all ingredients and wine, one lunch in Naples and one in Ischia all mentioned excursions and entrance fees, service, swimming pool and car park. The package price is exclusive of additional Hotel services at Villa Giulia such as drinks, lunches and dinners in so far as they are not mentioned in the program, additional excursions and / or sports, personal expenditures, tips etc.
* Villa Giulia reserves the right to change the programs, if reasons to do so exist. The organization of the trip will ensure that any replacement in the program will not be deteriorating the overall quality of the program.
* The courses will take place from the 7th. to the 14th. of every month from October to May.
